The LEO Foundation is one of the world’s largest private funders of independent skin research. With a clear purpose to pave the way for curing skin diseases, the Foundation supports excellent research and contributes to a stronger ecosystem around skin, skin diseases, skin health, education and awareness.
The Foundation has entered a new phase in which its grant activities are expected to grow significantly towards 2030. The annual funding will exeed DKK 500 million a year by 2030. This creates an opportunity for two new colleagues to join a small, ambitious and collaborative grant team and help shape how philanthropic activities are developed, administered and followed up in the years ahead.
The recruitment does not concern one fixed position only. Instead, the LEO Foundation is looking for complementary profiles who, together, can strengthen the team’s scientific insight, administrative capability, project management capacity and digital understanding.
Relevant areas of contribution include grant development, scientific analysis, assessment of applications and reports, impact assessment, grant administration, governance support, project management across grant-related activities, process development, management reporting and coordination with researchers, experts, partners and other foundations.
You may bring experience from universities, research institutions, foundations, NGOs, international organisations, healthcare, life sciences, research administration or other knowledge-based environments. Personal research experience will be an advantage, as will practical experience with grants, research-related processes, database-based systems or digital workflows.
The right candidates are motivated by scientific quality, strong processes and meaningful collaboration. You are analytical, structured and quality-conscious, and you thrive in a small organisation where flexibility, responsibility and close teamwork matter. Strong English skills, orally and in writing, are essential.
